That is what the Tim and Cristi Schwamb family believe as they wait on the LORD. Tim and Cristi's 3 year old daughter, Lauren, needs a heart transplant. No one wants someone else's child to die so that another might live. Yet, all this family knows to do is trust God and WAIT. And, that's just what they have been doing.

Cristi and Lauren have been in a hospital room at CHOP (Children's Hospital Of Philadelphia) since the beginning of January - TRUSTING AND WAITING. This video was made by Tim and Cristi just a few weeks before coming to CHOP. This family is an inspiration to me as I have watched them live out what they say here. I have seen set backs, additional difficult circumstances, sleepless nights, and months of separation not deter them from praising God.

My family and I are sky watchers! On my first birthday, celebrated in this century, our oldest son ran into the house shouting, "Mom, God has given you an amazing birthday gift - get the camera and come quickly!" The picture above was my "gift"! #GIGATTAATTGIG

Thank you for sharing your story with me. Your testimony of praising God inspite of your circumstances was something that I truly needed to hear. It was truly a word from the Lord.

Your video really touched my heart- What a beautiful little girl! God is good and has a plan for all of you. I will be praying for your family as you continue the marathon. My son (who is now almost 1 yr.) was also born with a heart defect. He only had to have 1 surgery at 4 months but I am amazed at all of the setbacks and miracles we have been through this first year. Your family is truly an example for praising the Lord when times are really tough! Hang in there!
Praise God from whom ALL blessings flow. Thank you for reminding us all that God is ever present, ever able, and ever alive! You have given Him great glory in your continued faith in tough circumstances!!! Many stand with you in the struggle and give thanks for the small and the large victories!
